5th Global CemFuels Award for Lindner

After 2009, 2014, 2016 and 2017, Lindner-Recyclingtech’s technology has received the Global CemFuels Award for the fifth time, this year in the category ‘Outstanding alternative fuel project’ together with LarfargeHolcim.

As in 2017, Linder-Recyclingtech featured in two prizes at the Global CemFuels Awards, the international accolade by the cement and lime industry. The awards were presented in late February 2019 during the 13th Global CemFuels Conference and Exhibition in Amsterdam.

In 2018, Lindner installed an entire facility for the production of refuse-derived fuels at LafargeHolcim, the world’s largest cement manufacturer, in Kujawy, Poland. Thanks to its state-of-the-art technology and well-engineered design, this is one of the most modern and productive facilities throughout Europe. With its customised production line, different fuel qualities can be produced. In addition to being exceptionally efficient, Lindner was also able to meet the highest safety standards required by LafargeHolcim and could therefore secure the internationally coveted award for this project.

Lindner’s technology also featured in a second award: in the category ‘Alternative Fuels Supplier of the Year’, the Global CemFuels Award went to the Dutch company N+P International B.V., which uses a Lindner Polaris single-shaft shredder to produce high-quality solid recovered fuels and received this award for the fifth time in a row.The Global CemFuels Conference and Exhibition has become established as the world’s largest and most important trade fair focusing on alternative fuels, especially for the cement and lime industries. Almost 200 experts from over 30 countries took part in the event. Being a prize winner in the respective categories is a timely reflection of the high level of trust that both Lindner and N+P enjoy in the industry.

‘This award shows just how highly appreciated we are in the industry and how satisfied our clients are with our shredding technology,’ says Managing Director Michael Lackner, who accepted the award in person. The prize is another great international success for Lindner-Recyclingtech and proves that top quality and reliability are valued in the industry.
